Welcome

"but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint."

Movement

I can't believe I am already 16 weeks and 2days along! Just a few days away from the time we lost Baby Hale #1.
Now that I am this far along I am always thinking about the baby and wondering how he/she is doing.
I haven't had an ultrasound in a a couple of weeks but, I did hear the baby's heartbeat on Tuesday, November 10th at my Dr. appointment. The baby is for sure a mover because as soon as we found the heartbeat we lost it cause the baby would move somewhere else. Mike's grandma jokes that we are having a gymnast for a child! She may be right.
That same day just before we went to the appointment we stopped to get dinner. While Mike was in the restaurant I was out in the car sitting very still just thinking about how hungry I was (which is all the time) when I felt this rolling feeling in my abdomen. It was the weirdest feeling ever! It kind of made me sick to my stomach but it was so awesome. It went on for about two minutes and then Mike got into the car.
Since that night I can feel the baby move just after I have eaten food. Maybe because the little guy doesn't have as much room in there because my tummy is full! Now it just feels like popcorn popping in my stomach. It is the best thing in the world at this point! I can't wait until Mike can feel the baby move!
I have had a lot of firsts that I never got to experience in the first pregnancy and I feel so blessed to have the opportunity.
We will have an ultrasound with the Dr. in a couple of weeks. We are both praying that the baby is healthy and that the Dr. doesn't find anything wrong. Please if you read this continue to pray for us and the baby! I know you all have been praying all along because I feel the Lord's presence and His blessings and we thank you for it! Praise the Lord for this little miracle growing inside of me!
"The end of a matter is better than its beginning, and patience is better than pride."
Ecclesiastes 7:8

  2. I think the baby loves what you eat. I can't wait to find out in 4 weeks what Baby Hale is going to be (I think girl, but Drew thinks boy).
