I was up early this morning thinking about our baby Hale while getting ready to go camping this weekend.
Can you believe it we would be 35 weeks along and only 4 weeks to go!?!?
It's hard not to think about these things when my would have been due date gets closer. Don't get me wrong I am for sure doing better than I was a few months ago. But, it's hard still, just a little...
Baby,
I miss you so much! I can't wait to someday get to meet you in heaven. But for now I know that the Lord our Father is taking good care of you and that someday I will get to hold you in my arms. I will get know what you look like, if you have daddy's nose or mine, daddy's lips or mine, or even what the color of your hair is. Either way I know you are beautiful! You are God's creation.
Thank you for coming into my life even though it was such a short time. You have taught me so much! You have also touched my heart in a way I never knew existed. You are so precious to me and your daddy.
We love you!
Welcome
"but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint."
~Isaiah 40:31

G-ma Visit
So my Grandma Janice came into town on August 12th and stayed until August 19th. We had so much fun. I think I may have walked to crazy with all the places that we went to. But, I think all in all she had a great time.
Mike and I had not seen her since our wedding almost 4 1/2 years ago. It was time!
She was supposed to come and visit back in June this year but, sadly a long time family friend had passed away. We both agreed at that time it probably wouldn't have been the best. I wouldn't have been great company with the loss of the baby still very fresh for me. Things have gotten better so this visit was really good and I was able to focus on her and I.
On Friday we took her to Edmonds Pier were Mike was Crab Fishing. That night we ate very good Crab and steak! Thanks honey! We also went to the "Taste of Edmonds". It was small but very entertaining.

Saturday Mike had a baseball game in Bellevue so I decided to take her to the Bell Square Mall. I walked her a lot in the mall and then took her to Red Robin. She had never been to Red Robin. They don't have them in Oklahoma or Texas.

Sunday morning we took her to our church. It was a good day to take her because it was very mellow music. Don't get me wrong I love the loud stuff too!
Pastor Jeff had a great message that Sunday on being a Church TEAM. It was very inspirational.
T= Tenacious - 2 Corinthians 4:1 &8-9 "Never Give up"
E = Enlarging - 2 Corinthians 4: 2 - It is highly important to commit ourselves to a local church. Don't just attend belong to teh Body of Christ!
A= Adaptable - 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 "Be Flexible"
M= Mission - 2 Corinthians 4: 5 It's not about me! It's about Jesus!
Later on that night we took her out along with Mike's G-ma Yvonne and parent's Dan & Patty to the Old Spagetthi Factory. Always good food.

On Monday we took her to NW Trek. We had never been there before. We recommend it. It was so beautiful and so much fun. We started out with lunch and then a 50 minute Tram ride on the open range. We saw so many animals!
After the tram ride we walked around on the trails to view other animals. She had a lot of fun and so did we.

The last night we took her and G-ma Yvonne out to Chinese. In Oklahome all they have are buffets for Chinese food. So we took her to the best Chinese food we know "Wongs" in Lynnwood. It was greasy good!

I think she even made a new friend!
I love these two so much!
I miss her so much already! It was sad to see her go back home. I love you Grandma Janice!

G-Sale
Before the G-Sale (all the goodies)
I was ready to go with my Cabela's hat and all
Jill, Dana, and I (Don't we make a great team?)
This what was left over. Quite a bit.
Wow! This past weekend was insane! But it was an insane good time!
We started the weekend off on Friday going over to Jill Hick's (Mike's Cousin) house to drop off all of the junk and PRICE as much of the junk as we could.
Dana(Jill's older sister) and Jill had been at it most of the day when Mike and I arrived. I was totally impressed with those two! They had everything priced... down to every last baby sock! If it were me after a couple of hours I would have just put everything in a bin and gave it all one price!
We ended up staying there from about 5pm to 9pm Friday night.
The next morning we arrived at Jill's house at 7am to set everything up and I had to finish pricing all the other stuff that I didn't get to the night before. So mostly everyone else set up while I priced. :( I felt bad but we all ended up getting it done and we were ready before the 9am start.
It was a long day and people came in spirts but, we ended up selling most of all the little stuff. Not too much furniture which we thought would go faster than all the rest. Go figure!
Early in the morning a man and his side kick came driving up in a beat up white moving truck. He started bargaining right off the bat. We know he was there to get stuff at a good price and resale it himself somewhere else. But, I think we all were very firm and handled ourselves pretty well.
We had a few downers during the day but mostly had great people that showed up.
All in all we all totaled a little over $800. Praise the Lord! Mike and I went home with about $150!! It was money we didn't have that morning so it felt great!
We had so much fun but, I don't think we will be doing that again for some time. Maybe in a couple more years when it's time to rearrange the house again.

Quilcene
Dan & Patty
G-ma Yvonne & Lorna (Birthday Girl)
Aunt Gerri & Uncle Pat
Me & My wonderful Mother -In-Law
This weekend we went to Quilcene, WA Mike's old stomping grounds for a birthday party. Mike's family friend Lorna turned 80 years old! We went with Mike's Mom Patty, Dad Dan, Grandma Yvonne, Aunt Gerri and Uncle Pat.
We have been married for four years and I have never been there. I now know why... NOT much there. Even though there wasn't much there it was really fun to get to meet people Mike grew up with and to go by his school and house he grew up in.
I always have a great time with his family. I feel so blessed to be a part of such a wonderful family. God knew what he was doing when he brought Mike and I together. He has spoiled me and I love it!
Tonight I am getting ready to set up all that I can for a g-sale this Saturday with the family! I have a lot of work ahead of me but it will be worth it for sure! It has been a long time coming. It all started with my Cousin Jill and Aunt Gerri coming over to help me rearrange the house after we lost the baby. Jill has been amazing with helping me get rid a of a lot. It is nice to have someone around that is not attached to all that you have. It makes it easy.
Wish me luck!
